Beginner’s Guide

1. Educate yourself – Don’t trust anyone other than yourself and don’t put money into things you don’t understand. Learn why BTC and ETH are game-changers. Understand your tax obligations.
   
2. Sign up to Coinspot https://www.coinspot.com.au/join/REFVW1JMW You’ll need to provide ID documents for KYC (Know Your Customer Regulations).
   
3. Budget your Dollar-Cost Average Do NOT spend your entire budget in one transaction, spread out your risk over time. (e.g. $50 every Friday or $200 every month) calculate the fees, work out your cash flow and what you can afford and stick to it. Do not FOMO in, just treat it as a very long term savings account. You can set up recurring buys so you can set it once and forget about it.
   
4. Purchase – I recommend BTC (65%) and ETH (30%) and a few ALTS (5%)
   

Trading

If you want to trade with leverage – I guarantee you will lose ALL of your money. I suggest practising on a fake Bybit account for 6 months MINIMUM. It’s very hard work and takes A LOT of time and commitment. I’ve been doing it for 5+ years and am only just getting the hang of it. Contact me for advice on where to start.

Learning

Spend money and time on Education and Research – Learn about charting, blockchain, DEFI, Risk management, Technical analysis,  Leverage, Funding Fees and Liquidations.

There is so much to learn.

If you want to become a millionaire overnight then gamble your savings on altcoins and you MIGHT get lucky. (Alts are high risk and I do not recommend them for beginners, don’t put your money down if you don’t understand the project.)

I invest for my grandchildren, I don’t expect to reap the rewards for a very long time. The aim of the game is to attain at least 1 BTC and maybe 10 ETH. If you can do this you will be in a very elite club.

Patience is key, stacking satoshis is the name of the game. Don’t FOMO into things, HODL strong and good luck.
